Compact and clearly identifiable brief description of the issue.

Select whether it is a "violation" or a "best practice".

The severity can be used to rate the impact of the issue on users, e.g. to prioritise remediation. The options available depend on the test catalog. For some check steps, a severity is already preselected.

Tags help to group issues. The available tags depend on the test catalog. For example, CAAT's test catalogs allow selection by team (design, programming, editorial).

Detailed explanation of the issue as structured text, including headings, lists, images and code examples. Images can also be inserted from the clipboard and provided with an alternative text. You can use key combinations in the text editor and use Markdown style auto-formatting.

File upload for additional materials, e.g. screencasts or PDFs.
