Update Notes August 13 2024

We were busy in July and released three waves of improvements (see the log at the end of this post): this includes new features, as well as multiple bug fixes, among others:

  • Display tags of individual checkpoints on their details-views (previously only in the checkpoint list)
  • Accessibility improvements of the PDF export
  • Possibility to configure an alternative text for your organization logo
  • Improved handling of longer CSS selectors in automated testing
  • Extended support for the LanguageTool plugin in several form fields
  • Improved test catalog management: filter by organization affiliation
  • Keyboard shortcut improvements on Mac for the rich text editor

New Project View

We continued working on the new project view. It can already be enabled in the feature preview.

  • possibility to create "empty" projects
  • possibility to delete empty projects
  • project members can now be added and removed
  • lazy loading of audit information
New project view. Multiple audits can be displayed. The most important information is graphically highlighted for each audit.

Report: Summary and List of Issues sorted by Severity and Tags

In all reports we now include a summary and detailed lists of all issues sorted by severity and tags.
This is in effect for all existing web-based reports as well as newly generated PDF and EPUB files even for existing audits.

Summary of the document issues: total, grouped by severity and by tag
Listing of all issues grouped by severity: complete title, number and link to the issue text.

Export of Issues for GitLab

CAAT now offers a new export for GitLab.
As before, we support exporting a general CSV file (e.g. for Excel), an export for Jira, as well as accessible PDF and EPUB files.
