Add a sample with URL to your audit and CAAT will open the individual web page in the background and perform automated accessibility tests. These tests identify potential errors, which then appear as suggestions in your manual test report.

The automatically detected errors can be assessed by the auditor and imported into the audit at the touch of a button. This not only saves valuable time, but also increases the thoroughness of your audit. This seamless integration speeds up and simplifies the audit process again.

We currently use the powerful axe-core library from deque for the tests. The integration of further libraries is planned.

In addition to the previous evaluation, a section with the summed up results has been introduced. The total number of errors is listed and then the number of errors grouped by severity and by tag.

Further metrics will follow in the coming weeks.

In preparation for the upcoming features, we are now talking more often about audits or manual audits, where previously we talked about projects. Projects offer the option to group several audits by assignment. The new wording will gradually find its way into the application.

The new project view can already be activated on the Feature Preview page. The new view is still being worked on and is therefore more for those who like to experiment. We look forward to your feedback.

We add the possibility to copy report templates. A small new feature that saves a lot of work.

Newly created checkpoints in the catalog-editor will be inserted after the selected checkpoint and no longer at the end of the list.

Already some weeks ago we added the possibility to the catalog editor to rename already created tags.
